Still Bored
Still at my project, but I'm taking a bit of a break.
First, allow me to introduce you to my temporary livejournal. Temporary in that I misspelled my intended login name, and I must wait a week before I get another one. It will soon be absoluteroberts instead of the now absoulteroberts. Silly me...
Now, I suppose the purpose of these things is to comment on how life is going and wax philosophical on love, life, school, and job. I'm doing this to share myself with my friends, mostly those I don't get to talk to that much. (you know who you are!)
I've met this fantastic girl who has just for lack of a better term, threw me head over heels. Not love mind you, just a crush. I really like her and I feel that we are becoming pretty good friends. So what's the matter with this situation? Why don't I ask her out if she's thrown me for a loop? She's got a boyfriend. A good one at that by what I gather. So in that situation, I'm out of luck. Not totally though. She's working with me up in the Mass Media department, so it's more interesting. Though I do miss my Meggy Moo who's up in England now. I need to e-mail her....
While we're on the topic of relationships, do I really need one at this point in time? Who knows. I haven't met anyone really on campus. Most of the freshmen are taken or smaller versions of the Death Star. I feel mean by saying that, but I'm not the only one that's said it..(thanks Rena)! Another prospective girl is a certain coffee shop jockey that I was interested in in May. She went for another guy for some reason (to be exact religion was the reason) and now she's single and we're pretty good friends. I don't think she's into me that way. It's so frustrating! I see girls with guys who are total jerks, while a nice guy like me just become the good friend. It's like a bloody John Hughes Movie!
School sucks. I'm in Elementary Statistics. 4 days left. It's such a boring class. EVIL! I'm looking forward to Block 3 though - Intro to Journalism with Zack Jack. I love writing. I'm also working on an independent study involving the production of a video. It's a tour of the Dickson-Williams Mansion. I'm doing it on the most frustrating Video Toaster NT system we have in the studio. Also in the Tusculum World is Cinderella. I'm a step sister, and constantly rehearsing. High heels aren't as cool as I thought they would be.
So this concludes my first journal entry....see you next time?
